The cleaning company Bedford keeps calling back
Tara Alexander started MyT Clean in 2021, working solo around Bedford with one promise: cleaning people could actually rely on. A former Project Manager in construction for names like Laing O’Rourke and Nationwide Platforms, Tara built the company on the same discipline, from proper systems and clear communication to jobs you can check for yourself.
Today MyT Clean is an established cleaning company with a team of 25. What began as house cleaning around Bedford now covers regular and one off cleans, deep cleans, end of tenancy cleaning, oven cleaning and carpet cleaning, plus outdoor work like pressure washing and garden maintenance. Homes across Bedford, Milton Keynes and Luton are on the books, with jobs reaching as far as Bristol.
The move into construction and commercial work brought bigger sites and bigger names. MyT Clean handles builders cleans, office cleaning and commercial cleaning services for companies including Halfords, Bell Building Projects, Bloor Homes, Chaserts, Havercon Construction and CBRE.
Tara also built the company its own management app. Clients and staff see arrival times, before and after photos and invoice history in one place, and every invoice lands by email with a link to pay online. It works well enough that other cleaning companies now license it on subscription.

Do you do deep cleans and end of tenancy cleaning?
Yes. A deep clean gets right into the areas a regular clean skips. Our end of tenancy cleaning is built to help get your deposit back, covering the whole property top to bottom so it is ready for the next tenants.
Do you do office and commercial cleaning?
Yes. Office cleaning and commercial cleaning services are a big part of what we do. We work with construction firms, offices and retail, including names like Halfords and Bloor Homes. We can clean daily, weekly or on a schedule that suits your site.
What is a builders clean, and do you do them?
A builders clean is the clean a property needs once building or renovation work is finished. We clear dust, paint splashes, plaster and debris so the space is ready to hand over or move into, from single rooms to whole sites.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Bedford and cover a wide area across the region, including Milton Keynes, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Biggleswade, Buckingham, Aylesbury, St Neots, Stevenage and Northampton, plus the towns and villages in between. Our commercial work now reaches as far as Bristol.

Yes. We built our own management app, and it shows you the date and time your cleaner is due to arrive. You also get before and after photographs of the work and your full invoice history in one place.
