Event cleaning is the toilet, welfare and litter work that keeps a site usable while the public is on it. It runs in three phases: build-up before the gates open, live cleaning through each show day, and the breakdown clean once the crowd has gone. Toilets and welfare are what people complain about first, so that is where the work concentrates.
MyT Clean was awarded the cleaning contract at Reggae Land, the UK's biggest reggae and Caribbean culture festival, held at the Milton Keynes National Bowl on our own doorstep. 95,000 people came through the gates over the 2025 weekend, and the 2026 event runs seven stages across three days. That is the scale we are set up for.
We are a team of 25, so we can put a real crew on site rather than two people and a van, and we can turn a site round overnight between show days. Every cleaner is DBS checked, and the company is fully insured and SMAS Worksafe accredited, which matters when you are being inducted alongside production and build crews on a live site.

Do you clean event toilets and welfare units?
Yes, and it is usually the first thing organisers ask about. We clean toilet blocks and welfare units on a rota through the day rather than once in the morning, restocking paper, soap and hand towels as they run down. That is what keeps the units usable from the first act to the last.
Can you clean overnight between show days?
Yes. Overnight turnarounds are normal on a multi-day event. We come in once the site is clear, work through the night on toilets, welfare, bars and litter, and finish before the gates open again, so day two starts on a site that looks the way day one did.
How many cleaners can you put on site?
We are a team of 25, so we can crew a site properly rather than sending two people and a van. The right number depends on the footprint, the number of units and how long the event runs. Tell us the dates and the site plan and we will say honestly what we can cover.
Do you cover build-up and breakdown as well as the event itself?
Yes. Build-up means welfare and cabins kept clean for the crew putting the site together. The live days are toilets, litter and back of house. Breakdown is the clear up once the crowd and the structures have gone. Organisers often book all three, but you can book only the phases you need.
Do you take the waste away?
We empty bins and move bagged waste to the collection points you nominate on site. Taking waste off site is a licensed activity for your appointed waste contractor, and we work alongside them rather than cutting across them. Show us where the bins and skips are and we will keep them fed.
What kind of events do you clean?
Festivals, outdoor shows, sports and corporate events, and one-off venue hires. Do you travel to sites outside Bedford?
Yes. We are based in Bedford and work across Milton Keynes, Luton, Northampton, Stevenage, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard and the towns between, and our commercial work reaches further still. The National Bowl is half an hour up the road. Tell us where the site is and we will say straight away whether we can crew it.
