School cleaning is the day to day and deep cleaning of an education site, classrooms, corridors, halls, staff rooms, washrooms and kitchens, done around the timetable rather than through it. We clean at Stantonbury School in Milton Keynes, and we cover Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Northampton and the towns in between.
The people who book us are business managers and site managers, and their first question is always the same one: who is actually coming on site. Every operative we send is DBS checked, without exception. They sign in and out like any other contractor, wear MyT Clean uniform so staff can identify them at a glance, and work to your site rules and induction.
Most of the cleaning happens after the last lesson or early in the morning before anyone arrives. The holidays are when the bigger jobs go in: hard floors, washrooms, kitchens and the deep clean term time never allows time for. We are SMAS Worksafe accredited as well, so where the work is a sparkle clean after refurbishment or building work, we can be on site alongside the other trades. We are a team of twenty five, so we can staff a single block or a whole building.

Are all your cleaners Enhanced DBS checked?
Yes, every one of them, without exception. Schools need an Enhanced DBS check with a Children's Barred List check, and we do not send anyone onto a school site who does not hold one. Our staff sign in and out like any other contractor, wear MyT Clean uniform so they are easy to identify, and work to your site rules and induction. The company is fully insured too.
Can you clean around the school day?
Yes. Most of it happens after the last lesson or early in the morning before anyone arrives, so no lesson is interrupted. If you need someone on site during the day for washrooms, spillages or a lettings turnaround, we can cover that too. We build the hours around your timetable, not ours.
Do you do holiday deep cleans?
Yes, and the holidays are when the bigger jobs go in. The holidays are when the jobs term time never allows go in: hard floors machine scrubbed, washrooms descaled, kitchens taken back and classrooms cleared and cleaned properly. Ask early rather than late, because every school wants the same few weeks.
Which parts of a school do you clean?
Classrooms, corridors, stairwells, halls, dining areas, staff rooms, offices, reception, washrooms and kitchens. In practice that means everything from carpet tiles and hard floors to glass, doors, touch points and stainless steel. We can take on a single block or a whole building, and we are a team of twenty five, so a big site is not a problem.
Have you cleaned schools before?
Yes. We clean at Stantonbury School in Milton Keynes, and we have filmed our own team there on an ordinary working day rather than staging anything. We also do sparkle cleans after refurbishment work, taking a block from building site back to a classroom ready for pupils. We cover Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Northampton and the towns in between.
Are you insured and accredited to work on a school site?
The company is fully insured, every cleaner working on a school site holds an Enhanced DBS check with a Children's Barred List check, and we hold SMAS Worksafe accreditation. That last one matters when the job is a sparkle clean after building or refurbishment work, because it is the health and safety standard main contractors want to see before they let anyone onto a live site.
How much does school cleaning cost?
It depends on the size of the site, how many hours a week you need and whether holiday deep cleans are included, so we price the actual job rather than quoting a rate down the phone. Tell us the building and the hours, we will come and look, then put a clear price in writing.
